EMODnet Chemistry portal The EMODNet Chemistry portal provides various services and functionalities to users for browsing and viewing the chemistry data products and for identifying and requesting access to the gathered chemistry data sets for the European waters. It makes use of SeaDataNet services that have been adapted and are further developed for specific EMODNet Chemistry needs.

EMODnet Chemistry portal services CDI Data Discovery and Access Service giving facilities for searching and retrieving chemistry source data sets; OceanBrowser Viewing Service giving facilities for viewing, browsing and downloading of Chemistry data products; Sextant Products catalogue service giving facilities for searching and downloading of Chemistry data products through the link with the OceanBrowser viewing service. Advanced viewing services for timeseries and profiles giving facilities for generating and viewing dynamic plots of time series and profiles of selected parameters from data sets, selected from the harmonised, aggregated and validated data collections. Activities will be undertaken for more robustness, integration and extra functionalities

Upgrading portal look & feel and sitemap Redesign for the site map and the look & feel of the EMODnet Chemistry portal will be undertaken by OGS + MARIS
Upgrading portal look & feel and sitemap Each of the metadata, data and product services should give a filtered overview and access to the records that fall within the subtheme scopes. This way users will not be overwhelmed by the total offer, and can act with more focus. Service developers will receive guidance for amending their services, both in subsetting and for restyling for overall harmonised look & feel
