LET’S GO TO SYDNEY! Our travel diary

THE AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM We are going to the Australian museum which is the oldest museum of Australia, it shows mostly natural history and biology. Founded in 1827, we can see zoological, mineralogical, paleontological and anthropological collections.

SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE After visiting the museum we’ll go to Sydney Opera House. It’s one of the most famous buildings of the 20th century, it hosts operas. It’s original architecture was designed by the Danish Jorn Utzon.

HARBOUR BRIDGE We will cross the bridge near the Opera: it’s Harbour bridge. This bridge has a metallic structure with ark. It crosses the bay of Sydney. Georges Imbault built it and it was inaugurated in 1932. This bridge is the longest bridge in the world (159 ft) and it’s the highest ark made of steel (439,8 ft) above the water.

HYDE PARK The second day we’ll have a walk in Hyde Park. It’s the oldest public park of Australia, it’s very big ( over 40 acres), situated between many skyscrapers. Hyde Park contains many gardens meticulously maintained. Hyde Park

MEANS OF TRANSPORT To travel in Sydney we will use the ferry which is one of the most popular and used means of transport by the locals. The monorail train is also very used.
