They were back seat passengers in a Renault Clio when the crash happened in Staffordshire. Paul Browning 36, killed a 24 year old man when his lorry veered into a lay-by and struck the young man, he was composing a text message to his girlfriend when the crash happened in Essex. Andrew Crisp 26, killed a mother of two when his truck ploughed into her blue Skoda in a queue of traffic. Crisp was looking at a text message on his mobile when he drove his lorry into the waiting cars.
