Monitoring on zabbix
Creating a Host You give a host a name Choose an interface Zabbix-Agent SNMP Provide IP address or DNS name of a server
Add a Template OS Linux template MySQL template ICMP template more templates available. A template come with different items inside Item - collects information for you on the server Type of items Vm.memory.size You can also add you own items (back-up monitoring)

Triggers A trigger is a warning - Evaluate data about items. - You can customize trigger thresholds. Example of triggers Password change on a server. A service is down Processor load Disk space
Triggers You can set severities for triggers - Not classified - Information - Warning - Average - High - Disaster You can set different colors for each severity. They can have audio alarms.
