Population Geography We use these Statistics to Study Population Natural Increase (Births and Deaths, Country Growth) World Population Trends (Population is growing rapidly) The Demographic Transition –The population growth of a country Stage 1- high births, high deaths, Agricultural country Stage 2- Slowly decreasing births, fast decrease of deaths Stage 3- Low birth and death rates, Population does not grow

World population trends: Section 1 Population Geography World population trends: World population is increasing rapidly. Economic development results in lower population growth rates. Many less-developed nations are gradually reducing population growth. Future population projections vary, but population-related challenges are inevitable.
