Canned Food Drive There will be a school wide canned food drive. The second period with the most cans gets donuts. This collection lasts until October 26th.

Change for Change Robinson’s Red Club is hosting a coin fundraiser for every first period. Start collecting change. The first period with the most change wins a prize!

Hispanic Heritage Dinner Hispanic Heritage Dinner is open to all. Come to the cafeteria on October 27th from 5-8. The cost is 5 dollars.

Light and Sound Training For any groups who use the theatre to host events, Mrs. Boger will host a light and sound training on November 18th at 2:45. Students can also be trained and work outside events.

Reading…It’s not a trick it’s a treat! Media Center Reading…It’s not a trick it’s a treat! This program runs October 31st. Each time a student checks out a book they can enter for their name for gift cards. Returning the book with a completed rate sheet gives them additional entries. Drawings will be held on October 14th and 31st.

Mission Trip Mrs. Henry is organizing a mission trip to the Dominican Republic for the Summer of 2017 in July. This trip will benefit the people in Haiti. We are preparing luggage's fill with materials for school, clothing, toys, etc. If you are interested come to room 302 to find more information. We will meet Thursday, October 21 at 2:30 pm.

PSAT The PSAT is Wednesday, October 19th. The History hall will be closed for testing during 1st and 2nd period. We will have silent class change.

We are hosting a School Fair on October 18th, from 5:30-7:30. There will be representatives from all of our magnet schools and academies including: International Baccalaureate, STEM, Language Immersion, Early College, and Year Round Schools.   Rising high school students also can learn about our National Academy Foundation-certified programs.

Tri-M Music The October meeting for Tri-M Music Honor Society will be on Wednesday, October, 19th. We will be planning our November service project at Pitts School Road Elementary School as well as having performers.

Volunteers Needed Día de los Muertos celebration for the Mexican Day of the Dead tradition. On Sunday, October 30, 2016, 12 - 4 at the Levine Museum this FREE event is good for all ages. Parking is free at the 7th Street Station parking deck. Tickets can be validated within the museum. See Mrs. Henry in room 302 if you wish to volunteer.
