Man’s Respect for Mercy 19:22 What is desired in a man is kindness, and a poor man is better than a liar. 20:28 Mercy and truth preserve the king, and by lovingkindness he upholds his throne. 21:13 Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be heard. 28:27

Giving vs. Taking 14:31 He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy on the needy. 21:25-26 The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands refuse to labor. He covets greedily all day long, but the righteous gives and does not spare. 29:7 The righteous considers the cause of the poor, but the wicked does not understand such knowledge.
