NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT GMS81C4040/87C4060 8-BIT CMOS SINGLE CHIP MICROCONTROLLER INTRODUCTION : GMS81C4040/87C4060 is a single chip microcomputer designed with CMOS silicon gate technology. It is housed in a 52-pin shrink plastic molded DIP. This single chip microcomputer is useful for the high-tech channel selection system for TV. WHAT IS IT? The GMS81C4040/87C4060 is based on the GMS800 Series 8-bit CPU core. In addition to such basic components as ROM(EPROM), RAM, and I/O ports, they integrate on the single chip on-screen display function, I2C bus interface, 14-bit PWM generator for controlling a tuner, remote signal receiving circuit, A/D converter, and watchdog timer.
