Vocabulary Building Activities Introduce New Vocabulary: Call and Response for pronunciation practice Presentation: Visually rich Powerpoint with example sentences of new vocabulary in context Guided Practice : Modified Frayer Model (word, translation, picture, sentence) Independent Practice: Cloze sentences worksheet Partners Activity: Make flashcards and practice studying them with a partner. Writing: Write an original sentence using each vocabulary word.
