1- Introduction Mobile phones can be useful in the collection of data and their dissemination. They are cheap, more quickly and widely as well, they are reliable and easy to use. Data collection by using mobile phones opens cost-effective opportunities for official statistics. The collection of data via text by (SMS, MMS), Bluetooth, wireless Internet access, and memory cards. The national statistical offices can be choose the sources with regard to quality, timeliness, costs, according to the professional standards as the basic principles of official statistics.

Challenges and Difficulties related to mobile Data Collection 1- Introduction (cont.) Comparison between data collection via Traditional Methods and Mobile Phones More Speed. Higher Accuracy. Combining with other data. Challenges and Difficulties related to mobile Data Collection Technology. The Speed of change. Data Security. Cost.

2- The problematic of study Although 109% is the Mobile phone penetration in Egypt. However, the Egyptian statistical office are not able to used it in data collection, This paper provides an overview of technological innovation in data collection in developing countries, Especially Egypt. Those technologies that have become due to the rapid increase in mobile phone subscriptions.

3- Methods This study is giving the user an idea of new approaches to data collection, Using Mobile data collection compare with traditional data collection, According to many studies and reports issued by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt, and Some of the World Bank reports.

4- Results Using Mobile Data Collection methods can be ready for analysis in a short time.

Ease of Geographical Linkage in Data Collection: 4- Results (cont.) Ease of Geographical Linkage in Data Collection: Connecting the mobile phone to the Internet, it can be linked through the geographical area, and that the researcher can access the search area through maps prepared for it, but the problem of data transfer over the Internet in some places due to weakness of network coverage.

Data Quality for Mobile Data Collection: 4- Results (cont.) Data Quality for Mobile Data Collection: Quality Assurance is a process consisting of systematic activities designed to ensure, assess and confirm the quality of the data collected during a data mobile collection. This includes not only accuracy, but also timeliness, accessibility, free of errors, and comparability.

5- Conclusions Good understanding for types of Mobile data collection is the best suitable for making the correct decisions for costs. Strengthening internet network coverage to solve the difficulty of transferring data over internet in some places. Increase of training in the field of data collection. There are weaknesses in the Mobile data collection needs to be further explored.
