We were one of the group of some 200 leading corporations that helped MSSC to define and nationally validate its production standards in 1990-2001. Since that time, we have continued to support MSSC in several ways: • Served as the Chair of the MSSC, when it became a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization in 2005. • Have continued to serve on the MSSC Board • Participate in the annual update of the MSSC national Production Standards. Within our company, we have used MSSC in a variety of ways, including the following: 1. Using MSSC is a key recruitment tool for new employees 2. Offering tuition reimbursement for our incumbent workers to secure MSSC credentials 3. Keeping area schools and the WI State Government aware of the value we attach to the MSSC CPT program 4. Providing foundation funding for projects to use CPT in our Milwaukee public schools 5. Supporting the formation of GPS Education Partners, an innovative program for preparing at-risk youth with CPT training and direct hands-on experience in companies throughout the state.
