Barack Obama’s Life Barack Obama was born on August 4th,1961 in Hawaii. His mother was from Kansas and his father was from Kenya. Barack Obama was also raised by his grandparents. In Arabic and Swahili Barack means blessed. Barack Obama went to Harvard law school after helping rebuild homes hurt by closure of steel plants. Barack Obama married Michelle Obama. He has two daughters named Sasha and Malia. After college graduation he moved to Chicago and helped rebuild the communities. In 1996 , Obama was elected to the Illinois state Senate. He was elected to the U.S Senate in 2004.

Mitt Romney’s Life Mitt Romney was born in Detroit Michigan on March 12th 1947. Mitt Romney was raised in Bloomfield Michigan. He was first introduced to politics when his father was elected the governor of Michigan. He got his degree from Bringham Young University Mitt Romney was the youngest of four siblings. Mitt Romney hired as the CEO of the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, in 1999. He ran for and elected governor of Massachusetts, in 2004. Romney has married a women named Ann. They have been married since 1969. Mitt Romney has 5 sons and 18 grandchildren.

Issues Mitt Romney Taxes: Mitt Romney wants to lower taxes because he thinks it will encourage businesses. Mitt Romney believes that the parents should be able to have more choices on how kids get educations. He also wants to reduce the Federal government’s role in education. Barack Obama Barack Obama wants to make millionaires and billionaires pay more money for taxes. Barack Obama thinks that states should have high expectations in public schools. He also believes that there should be new programs for students.
