Community Buy-in Agreement that project has value and the community will support through participation Key Decisions Who – MSC, GFSG, Board, others? What do we need to start getting buy-in? When can we start the buy-in process? Target to complete? 2

Web Page Create Page Text that introduces program List topics (and responses) Provide feedback mechanism Provide mechanism to submit responses and topics Key Decisions Presenting Responses - Flat page or wiki or other? Submission method – wiki or on-line form or other? How to maintain – when does topic become stale and get taken down? Target to complete? 3

Topics Initial set of 1 or more timely, hot grid issues Stated in provocative way Plan and process to add/delete topics Key Decisions Who decides what the topics are? How often do they change? Target to complete? 4

Program Scope and Criteria 1 or more page doc that discusses topic in thought leadership way Open to all but with special recognition for members Key Decisions What is special recognition for members? Who gives final approval for the scope and criteria – MSC, others? 5

Initial Contributions Initial submissions to get the pump primed Key Decisions How many responses are needed to launch? Who is on our target list? What is the deadline? 6

Vetting Process and Team Decision-making process on what constitutes an acceptable submission Key Decisions Committee of VP Standards, e-Science and Enterprise Or Community maintained (ala true wiki)? How low or high do we set the bar? By nature, criteria will be subjective - Will either work? 7
