FAQ – Overview What is the ARI Driver insights app? Easy way for drivers to manage vehicle maintenance and usage reporting from mobile device. How long has it been available? Released in June 2016 in the Apple App Store, and in Jan 2017 on Google Play. Who can use it? ARI drivers in the US and Canada can use it, in either English or French. It can be used by both Apple and Android devices. How do drivers login? With the same credentials as the ARI Driver insights website: Last name, Client ID(lessee code), and Password – Vehicle # or Driver ID.
Download App In the Apple App Store or on Google Play, search by keywords “ari driver” to find the free app. Tap ‘GET’ or ‘INSTALL’ on the app to download to your device. Login Login to the ARI Driver app using your Last Name, Client ID and Password (vehicle # or driver ID) in each field. Tap the Enable Touch ID (Apple) / Fingerprint Login (Android) switch to store login credentials during the login process. Future logins require only a fingerprint* on the Home button to quickly log in to the ARI Driver insights app. *Fingerprints are controlled in your device settings. Enter Driver’s Last Name, Client ID, and Password Tap ‘Remember Me’ to create a PIN Future logins only require 6-digit PIN.
Driver Dashboard Landing page is the dashboard with a vehicle overview: Vehicle information Notifications Operating expenses Fuel spend Odometers Tap on the menu icon in the top left corner to navigate to another page. Report Mileage: log usage eCoupon: digital PM coupon Near Me: find nearby service vendors
Near Me Locate Fuel and Maintenance vendors on the map in your area to get service for your vehicle.
eCoupons The eCoupon stores the PM service coupon for your vehicle in the app and can be used in place of the paper coupon. The services needed for the next PM and the date and/or mileage required. The last PM date and meter is included for reference. Email the vendor the service coupon for your PM service. When location services are enabled and the device is at an ARI vendor, the name and email are included. If it is not included, then the email address can be typed in the open field to send the eCoupon to the garage. Email the vendor from the eCoupon for the PM service.
Fringe Mileage Use the app to enter your monthly mileage. Choose assigned month and vehicle # from dropdown list, or select a rental if no assigned vehicle was used. Enter the total mileage for business and personal by tapping in the fields to open the # pad. The Ending Odometer and Total Miles calculate.
Mileage Entry via Odometer For monthly mileage entry, you can also enter the ending odometer first to then auto-calculate the miles from the previous month’s entry. Enter the Business and Personal miles after the ending odometer, which will subtract from the total miles.
Odometer Entry Odometer Entry is utilized to enter a current odometer reading on your vehicle. The last good reading is shown for reference. Drivers not on fringe can enter a current odometer reading
Trip Log Start Trip – track a trip by GPS to determine the distance. Add Quick Trip – choose from 10 most frequent trips to quickly complete the Add Trip form and add to monthly log. More Options – add/review/submit the monthly trip logs. Activity Log – overview of trips for the open log on the default vehicle. Includes business and personal usage and odometers. Drivers not on fringe can enter a current odometer reading
Live Chat If you need assistance from ARI, you can live chat on ARI Driver insights via the website (driver.arifleet.com) or mobile app (Apple or Android). Vehicle inquiries (non-maintenance), driver support, and technical assistance using the website or app are provided from ARI's analysts to help support your questions, requests or issues. Tap on the operator icon on the top of the screen for live chat. You will be prompted to choose help with your vehicle (non-maintenance) or assistance using the app (technical support). (Available upon request for FAP clients only.)
