What is Rotary International? What is RFHA? RFHA: ROTARIANS FOR FAMILY HEALTH AND AIDS PREVENTION Rotary Action Group recognized by Rotary International. Members are all Rotarians from across the world. RFHA is an independent NPO with global headquarters in Atlanta, GA, USA. It is governed by fourteen trustees, including Rotarian leaders from four continents, and managed by a CEO in close association with global partners and established Country Teams in seven African countries Mobilizing partner for Rotary International on largest Disease Prevention programme after Polio The Rotary Family Health Days Programme is Pan African initiative with further expansion into Africa, India and South America

What are the Rotary Family Health Days? An immense and impactful, Rotary-led nationwide health campaign held over three days in multiple African countries Provides comprehensive free health care and screening services to citizens at selected sites – rural, urban and informal identified by partners Delivered through a Public/Private Partnership Programme Partners in South Africa are RFHA, South African Ministry of Health, US Government through PEPFAR funded Centres for Disease Control and USAIDS, Rotary Clubs in South Africa, the SABC Foundation, Caxton Media House, Gift of the Givers and Gilead Sciences

Logistics 2017 Over 100 sites in 9 Provinces Dates: 3th – 5th October Launch Site:  in Mpumalanga Times: 9 am to 4 pm Core services at each site (see next slide) Add on services differ at each site Bring Road to Health Cards Power of Knowing your health status Young people are encouraged to come and make use of the services
