A biography is the story of someone’s life that is written by someone else. This week we will be reading stories that are autobiographies. An autobiography is a story that an author writes about him or her self.

As you listen to today’s read- aloud, listen for the parts of an autobiography: the author shares her own life story or experiences. the author writes in the first- person voice, referring to herself as “I”.
