Minimum Standards in RE

Class Charter Wildern is a Rights Respecting School. At Wildern every child has the right to a good quality education and has the right to have their opinions respected. As part of being a rights respecting school it also means we have responsibility for each other and making sure that everyone has the right to learn in a safe environment. Behaviour for Learning Class Charter As a class you are going to form your own class charter that outlines what you will do to create a classroom where everyone can learn and feel respected. As a table decide on 5 things you would like to be included in our class charter. Take feedback from each table and write ideas on the board. Decide on the ones they think should go in the charter. Students then need to write their class charter up neatly in their books.

Introduction to Christianity As part of the GCSE course you are going to need to have a solid understanding of the Christian religion. We are going to start with a unit that introduces us to some of the basic beliefs, teachings and stories within the Christian religion to build on what you have learned in KS3.
