Adjectives that end in the letter –e change form in number only Adjectives that end in the letter –e change form in number only. They do not change for masculine or feminine.

**There are a few exceptions:
Adjectives that naturally end in –a do not change for gender.
‘violeta’ and ‘rosa’ change form in number only.
Examples:
the purple student desks = los pupitres violetas.
EVEN THOUGH pupitre is masculine, the ‘a’ stays the same!
2. some pink books = unos libros rosas.
EVEN THOUGH libro is masculine, the ‘a’ stays the same!
