Extra Credit Opportunity 1. Read and annotate “Civil Disobedience” by Henry David Thoreau (17-25 Unit One book). 2. Answer questions 1-7 in the “Questions” section. You must use complete sentences and text evidence when appropriate. This should be typed. 3. Choose one of the options in “Topics for Composition.” Write a five paragraph essay that addresses the prompt substantively. Use MLA format. This should also be typed. 4. Due October 11th. The questions and composition must be handed in to me before or after school on October 11th. 5. If you complete all of the assignment, you can earn 70 points on a minor grade or up to 30 points on a major grade. Write on top of the assignment where you want the points to go. 6. You cannot earn credit for this assignment unless you have completed all of your other assignments.
