Other courses you can Take in Year 11:

Cambridge: AS General 2015 a pilot group of Year 11 students sat exam Students did extremely well in the examination so we continued with this program in 2016. It draws on topics from across the school curriculum and encourages learners to develop a maturity of critical thought and argument, and a mastery of expression in the English language. Questions are general in nature, demanding discussion and evaluation. There are 5 after school tutorials with an exam in May.

UNSW Computer SCIENCE Course HS1917 Open to high school students interested in doing a first year university Computer Science course. Targeting students who have an interest in computing and who have a solid understanding of mathematics. No prior computer programming or coding experience is required. The course runs from March to June. Some sessions are run at UNSW but the majority are run at PLC Sydney.

MITA Italian Textiles Course (Post-School) Priority is given to students who study Textiles and Design and Italian.

How to complete the subject selection form Students will receive an email in week 19A with details of how to complete the form. Detailed information can also be found in the subject selection booklet. Subject selection needs to be completed by THURSDAY 27 JULY

PLEASE be aware: The subject selections establish the number of classes required and assists us in determining a timetable and staffing framework. The final subject framework will be determined by the combinations which suit the majority of the students. Students who have selected a combination that results in a clash will meet with Ms Pollett to discuss alternative choices and confirm an alternative combination. Parents will be consulted at this time.
