Fruit and Veg They're packed with vitamins and minerals. They can help you to maintain a healthy weight. They're an excellent source of fibre and antioxidants. They help reduce the risk of heart disease and some cancers. They taste delicious and there's so much variety to choose from. Aim for variety

5 a day The 5 A DAY logo and portion indicator will help people to choose a diet with plenty of different fruit and vegetables. Includes most fresh, frozen, dried and canned fruit and vegetables

5 a day – What is a portion? Approximately 80 grams e.g: 1 medium apple 1 bowl of salad 3 heaped table spoons of peas Beans and pulses, juices and smoothies can only count as 1 portion per day

Produce a leaflet encouraging people to eat 5 portions of fruit and veg per day. It must: Include images Include the 5 a day logo Include at least 3 tips on how to increase fruit and veg intake Include a slogan Be aimed at teenagers
