RE Religious Festivals SMSC MB English Performance Performance Poetry - Discuss poetic features, the poems’ structure and the poet’s language choices. They look at the poet’s use of personification. Autobiography – Children will be creating an autobiography that they will then present on film. They will be responding to and asking questions about the text to develop their comprehension skills. They look at the use of language and gather success criteria for what makes a good autobiography. The children will create their own autobiographical presentations. They then perform their presentation to an audience. RE Religious Festivals Investigating festivals within Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism. Comparing and contrasting beliefs and practices. Understanding and respecting beliefs and cultures. SMSC MB History Investigating entertainment through history. Find out how society has changed over time by studying what people did for fun during a variety of time periods. Compare and contrast the changes to society over time.
