Motor Behavior and Emotion: Cognitive and Affective factors that impact motor control Novembre 22-23, 2016 - Lille, France November 21st - satellite meeting Sports, Heath and Innovation
Conference topics The overall conference theme is the underlying processes that modulate motor behavior. It covers all areas of research interested in the questions of adaptive behavior as a function of personality traits individual preferences and/or motivational profiles. Individual differences in the way we act and interact with our environment are caused by physical, social and psychological factors. These parameters that can influence, e.g., preferences and tolerances, are rarely considered together in contemporary theories of human behavior. The aim of the 3-day conference will be to bring together recent findings on how cognition, motivation and emotion impact motor behavior, using a cross neuro-psycho-physiological approach. It includes both fundamental and applied research in the fields of cognitive and affective sciences, social and health psychology, as well as sport sciences. New theoretical concepts, empirical research and evidence-based practice approaches are sought.
