INTERNATIONAL ART WEEK 7-10 June 2016 Homework tasks KS1 1. MY FAVOURITE PICTURE Find a picture you really like by a famous artist. If you’re stuck think about some of the artists we learn about in our art lessons and Google them… On the attached sheet recreate the picture using felt pens, pencils or any other medium you would like to use. Answer the questions about the original picture. Don’t forget to write your name and class on your sheet. The sheets will be used to make “The Stewart Fleming Book of Favourite Pictures”. 2. THE SHAPE GAME COMPETITION You may remember this game from previous years; it involves taking the image overleaf turning it any way round you wish, using any medium you like (felt pens, crayons, pencils) and turning it into something different… Maybe a fish, or a balloon or even a fancy dress mask. Some ideas are below. Be as creative as you wish as there will be prizes for the most original. This homework is due in on Friday 10th June.
