What is a Rainbow? A rainbow is… an illusion It is something that you can see but not touch A rainbow coms up when it is raining and sunny When the sun light hits the rain it breaks into the seven colours of the rainbow.

How do we see rainbows? The rain has to be in front of you and light behind you There must be water in the sky This can be rain or fog There must be bright light Did you know rainbows can appear at night if the moon is bright. This is called a moonbow Everyone see different rainbows to each other

Can we make our own rainbows? YES! Today I’ve prepared some activities for everyone which includes some colouring sheets and some experiments so everyone can create their own rainbow!
