In 2002, Bupa acquired AXA Australia to become a major player in Australian health insurance market. In 2007, Bupa acquired Amity Group in Australia. In 2008, Bupa acquired MBF.

Communication from senior management should be constant and consistent. Speed in integration is critical. Create a set of financial and non-financial measures to track the overall performance of the new company.
