Reviewing our destination A kingdom marriage is defined as “a covenantal union between a man and a woman who commit themselves to function in union under divine authority in order to replicate God’s image and expand His rule in the world through both their individual and joint callings.”

The main point for today Repositioning the priority of your relationship is the key to rekindling your first love and getting back what you may have lost as a couple.

Reading: you have left your first love God says to the once vibrant church at Ephesus: “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.” Rev. 2:4

Rekindling your first love Examines the steps a couple must take to reignite their passion and rediscover what brought them together in the first place. Remember-go back Repent-turn around Repeat-do what you did at first

Table talk Describe the difference between love and first love? How can you love someone but feel no passion for him/her? Why would two people who love each other get divorced?

Closing reflections If the wine in John 2 (Wedding at Cana) represents joy, or first love, what does that say to couples who are struggling to rediscover their first love? What hope can you find in the fact that the new wine—or the joy of rekindling your first love—was more delicious than that which came before?
