BTA Color Label Printer Strategy Muratec Strategy Current vendors are selling to Label Converter Printers. Printer Vendors do not require on-site service and support. Most labels are made with analog Flexo-Print technology. Ink Jet Printer is used, however, LED color now available. Like Heidelberg Printers, short run variable printing is expensive and difficult. Currently, End-Users are not targeted. Most competitors in this space do not offer onsite maintenance, CPL and training . End-user require similar support on these units as they do on copiers.

BTA Color Label Printer Strategy Muratec Strategy- Market Realities MSRP on these units around $50,000. (Print-finishing) Expect to supplies but also label media, cutters and other consumables. Only 20%-25% of your customers will need these units. Expect users to print 5,000-30,000 labels a month. Expect high profits in both supplies and service.
