Family and childhood He grew up in a poor farmer's family. Abraham became the first in the family who learned to write and read Lincoln loved books.

Work and education He succeeded and became one of the best lawyers of the state He had a sharp mind, integrity, honesty, the gift of eloquence He was elected to the Legislative Assembly

President In 1860 Lincoln was elected President of the United States. The country began a civil war. The President signed a document that emancipated freed 4 million people.
