a. He is CALLED man (Son of Man, Son of David) I Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. b. He is DESCRIBED as a man (Flesh and blood, he grew) Luke 24:39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

c. He ACTS like a man (hungry, tired, wept, thirsty, suffered, died) Matthew 4:2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. John 11:35 Jesus wept. John 19:28 Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” Luke 23:46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. Mark 4:38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” Therefore, Jesus Christ is also true man

John 1:29 Through the virgin birth God got into the world the Savior we all need, one who is both God and man. II Corinthians 5:17-20 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.

As our King, Christ 1. Rules in our hearts Luke 17:21 2. Rules the whole universe for our good Ephesians 1:22-23
