Who we are The Centre for Academic Communication (formerly The Writing Centre) is an academic support service open to all undergraduate, graduate, and Pathways students at UVic. We now tutor students in all academic communication skills!

Where to find us: McPherson Library/Mearns Centre, at the end of the Learning Commons, 135j-m.

How we can help Academic Communication Support: One-on-one appointments two 25-minute appointments per week ten appointments total per semester “Express Lane” help 15-minute appointments on a drop-in basis Learning Plan Consultations Personalized 1:1 support for EAL students Academic Communication Skills and English for Academic Purposes workshops
