NLOS and LOS Line-of-Sight (LOS) Up to 155 miles near-Line-of-Sight (nLOS) Up to 25 miles Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) Up to 6 miles PTP 500 and 600 radios perform reliably in virtually any path conditions, including non-line-of-sight and long-range line-of-sight, over water and desert terrain, even in severe weather conditions. In LOS paths, both the visual line-of-sight and radio line-of-sight (or Fresnel zone) are clear. While comparable systems also operate well in LOS environments, most do not communicate over distances as far as our PTP 500 and 600 systems do. nLOS paths are paths where the visual line-of-sight is clear, but the Fresnel zone is blocked. The most challenging paths are NLOS paths where both the visual line-of-sight and Fresnel zone are blocked. PTP 500 and 600 radios out-perform comparable systems in NLOS environments. In fact, these systems can provide robust connectivity in environments where comparable systems cannot even make a connection. Copyright 2017 Cambium Networks LTD. All Rights Reserved. OTAR

OTAR (Over the Air Re-keying) What it means ? The secret key used to encrypt the over-the-air data is automatically generated, negotiated and apply seamlessly at pre-configured intervals without any user intervention Advantages No need for user intervention Simplifies and streamlines operations while virtually eliminating risk of compromise. Fulfill corporate equipment of regular key updates Benefit: Save man-hours in manual updating network with latest security patches, which helps customers when they have been affected by the latest cyberattack
