Children and the Home Front Children Helped with the war effort By: Jamie Epstein and Abigail Berg

Materials Children collected tin, rubber, and other useful materials These built things like airplanes, jeeps, wepons, and other war supplies

Victory Gardens They raised money and grew food in victory gardens Posters persuaded young people to plant victory gardens

Paper Children collected paper at playgrounds and bundled it Recycled paper helped the war effort
