Our trading activities cover power, emissions allowances, natural gas, LNG, coal and freight. We source, store, and supply natural gas, LNG and coal globally. We have about 8.4 billion cubic metres of installed gas storage capacity, and operate power-to-gas units using electrolysis to convert wind energy into hydrogen, which is fed into the gas pipeline system. In addition, we’re engaged in the development of tomorrow’s energy technologies, such as large-scale battery solutions for power storage. Uniper Energy Sales offers individual power and natural gas supply to industrial customers and energy partners such as municipal and regional utilities in Germany and neighboring countries. Our energy services provide a variety of engineering services for power stations under construction as well as those that are already in operation; we also operate, maintain and manage assets on a contract basis; and we can conduct fuel procurement (coal, natural gas, LNG), commodity trading and energy marketing on customers' behalf.
