Parent Meeting Friday 20th May 2015 10th – 13th June 2016 Year 6 team:

What’s it all about? PGL is wonderful opportunity for the children to relax and have fun after their hard work this year. PGL is an outdoor activity centre in Marchants Hill, Surrey. The centre offers a range of outdoor activities including zip wire, climbing and team building.

What should you bring? THE BASICS DAY TIME CLOTHES FOOTWEAR OTHER Long socks over ankle length Underwear Night clothes Towel Toilet bag including: flannel, soap, toothbrush, shampoo, hairbrush, deodorant. 1 plastic bag to put dirty clothes in. Sun screen Sun hat DAY TIME CLOTHES 2 or more fleeces/sweat shirts 3 t-shirts 1 long sleeve t-shirt 3 pairs of old trousers (not jeans)- 2 for activities, 1 for evening Water proof jacket Waterproof over trousers (if possible) FOOTWEAR 2 pairs of trainers General day shoes or walking boots Wellington boots (optional) OTHER £15 maximum to spend in the gift shop on site (this is optional) Disposable camera only NO ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT - including phones

Rooms and Groups Children will be in supervised activity groups during all activities. Each group will be led by a fully qualified PGL instructor. The children will be in rooms of 3-6 and will also have at least one friend in their rooms with them.

The Daily Routine 7am Wake Up and shower!! 8am Breakfast – Cooked or selection of cereals/toast 9am – 10.30 – Activity one 10.40 – 12.10 – Activity two 12.30 – Lunch 2.10 – 3.40 Activity Three 3.50 – 5.20 – Activity Four 6.00 – Dinner 7pm – Evening entertainment 9pm Rooms – 10pm – Lights out!

Medical requirements Medical Form- please fill out the form clearly dietary requirements should be clear medication dosages and times should be clear. Clearly label any medicine that your child takes in a sandwich bag (which will be provided). Asthma- please note we will not take children without their asthma pumps Travel sickness- please provide enough tablets for the coach journey on Friday 5th June and Monday 8th June.
