Second graders will be very hungry by 12:45. Please make sure your child has a healthy milk break snack. A sandwich may be a good idea. Grand Meadow School provides free milk for milk break. NOTEBOOKS: The black Superlark Notebook/3 ring binder should be brought to school every day. Parents should write in the yellow section on the right side of the calendar where his/her child should go after school each day. This is a good reminder for the child and teacher where the child needs to go every night. This especially helps when kids go different places on different nights. Examples: dance/SAC/daycare/home/mini larks MILK BREAK: Students should bring their own milk break snack each day. Milk is provided for free to all K-4 students. BREAKFAST: Please refer to the GM Elementary handbook for information on breakfast. BACK TO SCHOOL PAPERS: Please return all papers that were mailed/given to you for the beginning of the school year. Thank you for your promptness. ABSENCE: If your child is absent, please email the teacher and the elementary office to let them know your child will be absent. You may also call the elementary office at 507-754-5317 to leave a message on the school answering machine during late hours. TENNIS SHOES: Tie tennis shoes are required for phy. ed. Students may keep a clean pair of shoes here at school and change in the morning before phy. ed. Mr. Josh Bain will be our phy. ed. teacher. MRS. NANCY PRIGGE: We want to welcome Mrs. Prigge to our second grade team as our classroom paraprofessional! She has been a long time substitute teacher and paraprofessional for the GM district. She will be a good fit for our classroom.
