General Break Down An research report can be broken down into 3 parts: 1) Intro 2) Body 3) Conclusion By: Matai Blacklock

Introducing your research The introduction to your report will include an opening story and a brief overview of the country. This section should aim to catch your readers’ attention, provide important background information, and set the stage for your description of your country’s environmental problems and sustainability solutions By: Matai Blacklock

The body of the report 2) Body In your report, the body is the three descriptions that you are asked to provide. “a thorough description of your country’s environmental problems” a description of various efforts to find solutions to your country’s’ environmental problems a description of what you think should be priority actions to restore and protect the environment in your country. By: Matai Blacklock

Concluding your report 3) Conclusion This section should summarize what you discussed in your report AND Try to instill a sense of urgency to address the environmental issues that your report talks about. Try to end with a story or set of figures that powerfully conveys your main point in the report. By: Matai Blacklock

Paragraph Break Down When writing each paragraph you apply the same three steps: Intro, body, conclusion. Each paragraph should: have an introductory sentence (intro) followed by the detailed descriptions (body) that addresses the topic of the paragraph This section is the “meat” of your paragraph where you should give detailed information supported by quotes and citations. and concluded by a closing statement (conclusion) that sums up the paragraph and leads the reader into the topic of the next paragraph.
