SSVP works to break the cycle of Poverty Sponsoring healthier and more sustainable families Educating parents and adults on programs and services available. Encouraging small changes Directing families toward available opportunities Sharing hope for the future Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

Education Provides Hope Access to education provides HOPE for dignity through gainful employment, HOPE for a future with respect and full participation in society, HOPE for a future that is poverty free. Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

Savings makes Education possible A child is 50% more likely to graduate from High School and pursue Post Secondary Education When a child believes that education is financially feasible, and A SAVINGS ACCOUNT EXISTS Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

1.5 million kids do not have Hope Despite the availability of FREE education money in Canada about 70% of eligible children in Western Canada do not know they have access to hope. Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

RESP accounts: Seeds of Hope Canada Learning Bond Net family income less than $45,282 Children born since 2004 Retroactive $500 followed by $100 per year up to age 15 (max $2000) Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

RESP accounts: Seeds of Hope Canada Savings Grant Net family income: Less than $45,282 – 40% $45,282 – $89,401 – 30% Greater than $89,401 – 20% Matching grants Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

Sounds too easy. What’s the catch? Lack of Awareness and Fear NO fees or contributions required No impact to provincial or Federal benefits SIN numbers required Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

You can plant seeds of Hope By becoming a SSVP SEEDS OF HOPE Champion you can help to break the cycle of poverty by: Educating Parents on how to open an RESP account to access Free money, providing hope for children’s futures Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity. Stand by him in times of distress so that you may share with him in his inheritance. Sirach 22.23

Vincent de Paul and Blessed Frederic Ozanam Pray for us, that we may courageously seek to break the cycle of poverty within our communities Gain the trust of your neighbor in his poverty so that you may rejoice with him in his prosperity.
