Scranton/Carter Road Reconstruction Project Facts Project Schedule: Design Completion October 2015 Bid/Award December/January 2015/2016 Public Meeting/Construction Starts April 2016 Construction completed November 2017   Project Work Scope:   New Concrete Pavement, concrete drive aprons, curbs and walks for Scranton Road (Fairfield to Carter) and Carter Road (Columbus to Scranton) Resurfacing of Columbus/Carter intersection New drainage facilities for both Scranton Road and Carter Road Installation of ADA compliant curb ramps at all intersections. Miscellaneous water work including hydrant relocation Relocation of utility poles New striping and signs, including exclusive bike lanes and parking lanes on Scranton Road Construction cost: $6.8 Million Funding source: Ohio Public Works Commission/Local funds - 70/30 split Wards: 3, Councilman McCormack Scranton/Carter Road Reconstruction
