GS 001 : General Meetings Purpose This Standard describes the recommended governance practice for convening and execution of a General Meeting in an Organization. Review of the Standard in detail ( Refer GS 001)

GS 002 : Meetings of the Board Purpose This Standard describes the recommended governance practise for the preparation and conduct of Board and Committee Meetings. Review of the Standard in detail ( Refer GS 002)

GS 003 : Minutes Purpose This Standard describes the recommended governance practice for the preparation, recording and maintenance of a Minute Book. Review of the Standard in detail ( Refer GS 003)

GS 004 : Resolutions Purpose This Standard describes the recommended governance practice for preparation, passing, recording and maintenance of resolutions.. Review of the Standard in detail ( Refer GS 004)

GS 005 : Board Papers Purpose This Standard describes the recommended governance practice for the preparation Board Papers for both Board Meetings and Board Committee Meetings Review of the Standard in detail ( Refer GS 005)

GS 007 : Filing Annual Returns Purpose This Standard describes the recommended governance practice for the filing of returns for an Organisation. Review of the Standard in detail ( Refer GS 007)

ICPSK Governance Guidelines The Institute of Certified Public Secretaries, in improving the practice of good Governance has formulated and issued various guidelines for adoption and use by organizations and all Certified Secretaries. The Institute hopes that adoption of these guidelines will promote professionalism, uniformity and consistency across board.

Codes of Governance In Kenya The Institute of Certified Public Secretaries, in improving the practice of good Governance has developed Codes of Governance for Key sectors in Kenya. These are: Code of Governance for State Corporations (Mwongozo) Code of Governance for Private Organization in Kenya Code of Governance for Listed Companies in Kenya (NB: Refer to the various Governance codes for details)

ICPSK Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Policy As a policy, every member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries, is required to attain a minimum of 30 hours per year of Continuous Professional Development (CPD Hours). (NB: Refer to ICPSK CPD Policy for details)
