What are the entry requirements? 2.2 or above Experience of working in a social care setting UCAS application Shortlisted and invited to a selection event Group exercise Written tasks 1 to 1 interview

Who are our students? 23 first year MSW students started in March 2017. Start 1st placement in September 20 second year students. Start 2nd placement in September. Will complete course by April 2018 A wide range of backgrounds, ages, experience and knowledge

How is the course structured? 24 months - starts on 1st March 6 modules in year 1 + skills days + 70 day assessed placement 3 modules in year 2 + skills days + 100 day assessed placement + Dissertation A generic course children and families, adults and mental health The MSW qualifies a student to register and practice as a social worker A PGDip option (no dissertation) also allows them to register and practice as a social worker
