Keep Wording Clear & Simple Avoid using complete sentences No more than one topic per slide

Use the Right Font Make titles larger than body text Maximum 3 font styles per slide Consistent fonts for all slides Is there contrast between font & background colour? Fancy fonts are difficult to read

Select Readable Font Size Minimum 36 pt for titles This is 32 font This is 28 font This is 20 font Limit information to essentials Avoid abbreviations & acronyms

Emphasise Words with Text Effects Emphasise important statements or words with bold, italic, Capital Letters, strikethrough, larger fonts, different styles or a different colour.
