Acts of Parliament against the Colonists You and a partner will select one of the following acts passed by Parliament upon the American colonists. Iron Act Coercive Acts (Intolerable Acts) Sugar Act Declaratory Act Quartering Act Stamp Act Prohibitory Act Tea Act Townshend Acts You will research the act and create a poster that is protesting the act.

Written description of the Act You will also write the following information about the act on the back of your poster: What was the name of the act? What did it tax? When was the tax approved by Parliament? What was the purpose of the tax? What was the effect of the tax?
