Thalamic Syndrome Syndrome- group of signs and symptoms describing a disease Thalamic Syndrome- condition in which the body becomes hypersensitive to pain because of damage to the thalamus - heat, cold or stress can make the pain worse

Thalamic Syndrome Causes: 1. Stroke ( CVA) 2. Hemorrhage- bleeding in the brain 3. Brain tumors 4. Trauma to the brain

Thalamic Syndrome Treatment: 1. Drugs- pain-relievers 2. Physical Therapy 3. Occupational Therapy
