(Luk 5:23) Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? (Act 3:6) Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

(Pro 1:20-26) Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

(Pro 1:27-33) When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

(Pro 2:1-6) My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Knowledge “The Facts”

(Pro 1:7) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Pro 1:8) My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Knowledge

(Col 2:3) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Col 2:2) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; (Col 2:3) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Knowledge

(Col 2:8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Knowledge

(2Ti 3:7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

(Pro 8:10) Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

(Pro 12:1) Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

(Pro 22:17) Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge. Knowledge

“The ability to translate the facts to meaning” Understanding “The ability to translate the facts to meaning”

(Pro 15:14) The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness. Understanding

(Psa 119:130) The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

(Pro 18:2) A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

(Col 1:9) For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; Understanding

(Pro 20:5) Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out. Understanding

(Pro 19:25) Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge. Understanding

“Knowing what to do with knowledge and understanding” Wisdom “Knowing what to do with knowledge and understanding”

(Pro 17:24) Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. Wisdom

(Pro 9:10) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Wisdom

(Pro 2:10) When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

(Pro 10:14) Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. Wisdom

(Pro 10:14) Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. Wisdom

(Pro 21:11) When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge. Wisdom

(1Co 2:1-8) And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Wisdom

(1Co 2:8-13) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Wisdom
