West Midlands AAC CEN Wednesday 9/11/16 9.30am – 3.30pm Provisional programme Our theme will be symbol based communication books. Saffron Hughes and an education colleague will present on developing, supporting and using communication books in Herefordshire. Sarah Lane SLT will present on PODD book use in Shropshire. Chris Sherlock SLT ACT will present on how local teams can use communication books and aided language stimulation to enable clients to meet the NHSE criteria for referral for specialist AAC assessment Tina Voizey Tobii DynaVox will give a Boardmaker software update on the theme of communication books. Sue Burns SLT and CEN bursary recipient will present feedback from CM conference . If any one else would like to add to this please let us know.
