Jesus provided us freedom from sin’s dominion. Dominion: the Lordship or rulership of sin.

Colossians 1:13-14 (NKJV) 13  He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14  in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

‘where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty’. 2 Corinthians 3:17 ‘where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty’.

1. Freedom from legalism. 2. Freedom from the bondage of past mindsets. 3. Freedom from the bondage of peer pressure.

John 12:42-43 NKJV 42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

John 12:42-43 MSG When push came to shove they cared more for human approval than for God's glory.

Galatians 5:1 (NKJV) 1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

(Darby's): “Christ has set us free in freedom; stand fast therefore, and be not held again in a yoke of bondage.”

(Young's Literal Translation): “In the freedom, then, with which Christ did make you free--stand ye, and be not held fast again by a yoke of servitude”

Amplified: “in [this] freedom Christ has made us free – completely liberated us; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery – which you have once put off.”
