Edge Printing Edge printing is a new Dynamic Image option Printing an image on the front edge or side edge of a book Designer automatically divides a selected image into slices, according to the number of pages in the book. Edge Printing – Step by Step Edge printing is meant for printed books, notebooks and similar applications Database A DB with1 column, number of records is number of book pages divided by 2. Data can be a simple counter, as it is not printed. Preparing the Spine Printing Content PDF file -15- Need to know: Spine width Number of books in the set Multiply the width by the number of books = the Spine Printing Content PDF width Example Spine width – 15 mm Number of books in the set – 7 Width of Spine Printing PDF – 105 mm Number of DB records The behavior is cyclic: Example, if there are 7 books in the set and a DB with 70 records, then Spine printing will prepare 10 sets of 7 books.
