County Export Dashboards Introduction & Notes County Export Dashboards are intended to begin the conversation about the current impact of exports on our economy. As we work with County leaders to build the regional export plan, data gathered will be added to the conversation. County Dashboards are estimates based on Brookings analysis of data from Census, BEA, BLS, IRS, Moody’s Analytics, and NAFSA.  Note that these are estimates and the reliability diminishes the smaller the geographic area.  The validity of this report is enhanced by consistent data comparison. Brookings changed data methodology from the time these dashboards were first published. We have updated 2012 export data using the current data sets (methodology) for a fair comparison.
