Question 1 An academy hires 3, 52 seater coaches and 2 minibuses each which seats 16 people. How many people will the 3 coaches and 2 minibuses hold? people

Question 2 At a school concert they plan to serve 70 glasses of wine containing 60 ml, how many half litre bottles of wine do they need to buy? half litre bottles

ANNOTED ANSWERS Remember that there maybe several different methods to answering these questions. The methods shown are hopefully quick ways to calculate the answers but other methods are fine as long as they give correct answers and can be calculated within 18 seconds.
